"I completed reading this novel just in 2 days, bcoz it was so damn interesting and of its amazing writing and masterpiece story that keep me hooked from the time I started reading. When I realized that this novel is the sequel of "the girl in room 105", I got more excited coz that novel was one of my favourites and now this novel is also one of them. It's absolutely a masterpiece and gets you hooked to it until you finished it. A must-read for everyone."

"========= কাহিনী সংক্ষেপ ========== কেশব রাজপুরোহিত ও তার বন্ধু কাম সহযোগী সৌরভকে নিশ্চয় সবার মনে আছে! যে তার প্রেমিকা জারার হত্যা রহস্য উদঘাটন করে পুলিশকে প্রকৃত অপরাধী ধরতে সহযোগীতা করেছিলো। ঐ ঘটনার পর কেশব ও তার বন্ধু সৌরভ মিলে একটি প্রাইভেট গোয়েন্দা সংস্থা খুলে যার নাম “Z Detectives”। একটি সফটওয়্যার কোম্পানীতে চাকরির সুবাদে দুইজনের জীবনই ভালোভাবে কেটে যাচ্ছিলো; তবে জারাকে হারানোর পর কেশবের জীবন এখনো কিছুটা এলোমেলো ও বেপরোয়া। কিন্তু সৌরভ এখন বিয়ে করে সংসারে থিতু হতে চায়। অনলাইন বিবাহ সংক্রান্ত সাইটগুলো থেকে পরিচিত হলেও প্রেরনা ও সৌরভের সম্পর্কটা এখন অ্যারেঞ্জ ও লাভ ম্যারেজের মাঝামাঝি এক পর্যায়ে রয়েছে। দুই পরিবারের জেষ্ঠ্য কর্তা ব্যাক্তিরা রাজি হওয়ায় সৌরভ ও প্রেরনা এখন তাদের জীবনের সবচেয়ে মধুর দিনগুলো কাটাচ্ছিলো আর অধীর আগ্রহে অপেক্ষা করছিলো বিয়ের জন্য। প্রেরনা সৌরভের প্রতি ভালোবাসা ও শ্রদ্ধা থেকেই বিয়ের আগেই তার হবু স্বামীর উদ্দ্যেশে করওয়া চৌথ পালনের জন্য সারাদিন উপোস থাকে এবং ঠিক সন্ধ্যায় সৌরভের আসার জন্য অপেক্ষা করতে থাকে উপোস ভাঙ্গার জন্য। সৌরভও বিপুল উৎসাহ ও ভালোবাসার প্রতিদানস্বরূপ প্রেরনার বাড়িতে উপস্থিত হয়। কিন্তু ভাগ্যের লিখন বোধয় ছিলো অন্যরকম। কারণ ঠিক তখনই বাড়ির বারান্দা লাগোয়া রাস্তার পাশে সবাই প্রেরনার লাশ খুঁজে পায়। যা ঐ পরিবার ও সৌরভের জন্য হয় অত্যন্ত পীড়াদায়ক ও কষ্টকর। কিন্তু পরিবারের সবাই ও পুলিশ প্রথমে এটাকে নিছকই দুর্ঘটনা মনে করলেও সৌরভ ও কেশবের অনুসন্ধিৎসু মন ঠিকই বুঝতে পারে এর পেছনে রয়েছে অন্য কোন গভীর ষড়যন্ত্র। আপনজনের জনের মধ্যেই হয়তো লুকিয়ে আছে প্রেরনার ঘাতক! ========= পাঠ প্রতিক্রিয়া ========== মার্ডার-মিস্ট্রি ঘরানার এই বইটিও লেখকের এর আগের বই “The Girl In Room 105” এর মতো লেখনীর ধরণ দারুণ। গল্পের প্লটটিকে ও চরিত্রগুলো লেখক এমনভাবে একের পর এক বর্ণনা করে গিয়েছেন যে, বই ছেড়ে উঠে আসাটা সত্যিই কঠিন। কাহিনীতে একাধিক টুইস্ট থাকার কারণে বইয়ের পুরো কাহিনীতো বটেই, এমনকি সকল চরিত্রের গভীরতা পুরোপুরি বোঝার জন্যও বইটির প্রায় শেষ পর্যন্ত পড়ে যেতে হয়। তবে এবার বইটিতে আগেরটির মতো দিল্লীর পুলিশ ডিপার্টমেন্টকে অতি বেশি অকর্মমণ্য হিসেবে দেখানো হয়নি, যা বাস্তবতার সাথে মানানসই। ব্যক্তিগত একটি মতামত হিসেবে বলতে চাই, এই উপমাহাদেশে বড় ও যৌথ পরিবার একসময় ছিলো নামকরা ও বিখ্যাত ঐতিহ্য। কিন্তু কালের বিবর্তনে এবং মানুষের অর্থ ও বিত্ত-বৈভবের নেশা সেই ঐতিহ্যকে করে দিয়েছে খন্ড-বিখন্ড! হয়তো বাস্তবে সেখানে স্বার্থের জন্য খুন হয় না, কিন্তু এই অর্থ ও বিত্ত-বৈভবের মরণনেশা আমাদের ঐতিহ্যবাহী সাংস্কৃতিক, সামাজিক ও মানবিক চেতনাকে হত্যা করে চলছে প্রতিনিয়ত। মূলত বইটি তারই একপ্রকার প্রতিচ্ছবি। যাইহোক থ্রিলার বা রহস্য পছন্দ করেন এমন পাঠকদের কাছে বইটি নিঃসন্দেহে ভালো লাগবে আমার বিশ্বাস। ব্যক্তিগত রেটিংঃ ৮/১০।"

"Main anecdote is really mysterious and suspicious but the narration and some scenes are so immoral and vulgar. As if this is not a mysterious novel but a nude and naked book of......even I can't write the word. Intensively filthy book. He, has talent but misusing it by spreading the vulgarity and immorality in the youth society."

"[SPOILER FREE] Sometimes, the victim's family may not know the secret of one's untimely death! This story is about young detective Sourav's future wife Prerna. With whom Saurabh was supposed to meet at Karva Chauth (Northern Indian fasting ritual of married women), on the roof of Prerna's house, behind everyone's back. But before Saurabh arrived that evening, it was as if someone had pushed Prerna down from the roof of the house! When Saurav arrived, her body was lying on the side street of the house! At the same time, there were almost all the people of Prerna's joint family at her house, preparing for the dinner but no one could guess what had happened in the rooftop! Later, Keshav, another detective friend of Sourabh, discovered in the investigation from mobile network tower information that Prerna's emerging startup partner was also roaming around in the same area . "I can’t say it’s a muster piece of Chetan Bhagat but the story is really interesting. A good story with lots of suspection, twist, conspiracy and romance etc. From the beginning you will suspect many people but the one who actually did the murder was really unbelievable .. I am a big of Chetan Bhagat so yes in my opinion I liked the story..."

"(SPOILER FREE REVIEW) If you liked The Girl in Room 105, You're going to like it too. Though I don't think the story line was as good as its prequel's. The plot was kid of sloppy and predictable. The comedy and dialogues between Keshav and Saurabh (The protagonists) are good. A typical Chetan Bhagat book that was stretched unnecessarily. A quick read as you can skim through large parts of the book."
