"Bangla history of literature book is an enlarged and revised in 15th edition. The latest edition of the book is attend to increasing congeniality. As far as possible the information decorate in the accurate place. It is early from 21st century the importance of bangla literature has been increasing. Today the importance of bangla literature spreading in widely. In this book’s has describes the history of bangla literature of Ancient age, Dark age, Middle age in elaborates. As like the Ancient age was started (650-1200), you can see the history of this age in details of this book, main discover of this age is charyapada, it has 47 mystic songs that composed by Buddhist monks. The manuscript was discovered on a palm leaf in the Nepal Royal Court library in 1907, by the Bengali linguist Haraprasad Shastri. Due to the language of this poem/song only being partially understood, it were classified by Haraprasad Shastri with the name Sandhya Bhasha. Same as you can know about Medieval age (1200-1800), in this book’s the Medieval age is divided into three different parts, like Early medieval / Transitional (1200-1350), pre- Chaitanya (1350-1500), Chaitanya (1500-1700), the middle Bengali Literature is a period in the history of Bengali Literature dated from 15th to 18th centuries. In our history of Bangali literature age the modern age (1800-present), bangali literature is being increasing rapidly from eighteen centuries. This is the golden age of literature in bangali history. "প্রথমত, বইটির মান নিয়ে বলি। এটি কোনো উচ্চ মানসম্পন্ন গবেষণাধর্মী বই না। যারা বাংলা সাহিত্যের ইতিহাস বিষয়ক অন্য সব লেখকদের বই পড়েছেন, তারা হয়তো নিতান্ত বাদ্য না হলে এ বইটি ছুঁয়েও দেখবেন না। এবার আসি সাধারন পাঠক দৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে বইটি কেমন সে প্রসঙ্গে। এ বইটিতে সবকিছু এত সহজবোধ্যভাবে সন্নিবিষ্ট আছে, আপনি এক মলাটে সবই পেয়ে যাবেন। আর প্রাথমিকভাবে বাংলা সাহিত্যের ইতিহাস অধ্যয়নকারীদের এই বই না পড়ে অন্য বই ধরার কথা আমি কখনোই বলবো না।"
